Jacob Auto Rent<\/strong> has implemented a self-rental system to provide customers with a simplified, fast and secure experience without the need for physical interaction with an agent. The self-rent process is structured in a way that allows you to pick up and return the car autonomously, while respecting all contractual requirements. Here are the main steps to complete your self-rent:<\/p>\n

1. Online Booking and Document Confirmation<\/h2>\n\n

The first step is to make a reservation online on the Jacob Auto Rent website or by contacting the agency directly. During the reservation, the client must provide the following documents:<\/p>\n

  • Identity Card<\/strong> or Passport<\/strong> (scan or clear photo)<\/li>\n
  • Valid driving license<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Proof of payment<\/strong> for the rental period and the specified guarantee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The documents will be checked by the Jacob Auto Rent team and the customer will receive a confirmation email, specifying the details of the car, the pick-up location and instructions for access to the vehicle.<\/p>\n

    Note: Most applications are instantly reviewed and approved or rejected. In some cases, it may take several business days to fully review the application, and more information may be requested.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

    2. Taking the Car – Self-Rent System<\/h2>\n\n

    Once the documents have been validated, the customer will receive a unique access code and the information needed to pick up the car:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • The exact location of the car<\/strong> (in the parking lot or at a mutually agreed point).<\/li>\n
    • Access code for the security box<\/strong> containing the car key (if the car is equipped with a security box). Alternatively, for some models, the customer can use a keyless entry system<\/strong> or a mobile app<\/strong> to unlock the car.<\/li>\n
    • Electronically signed rental document<\/strong>, which can be accessed by email or in the dedicated application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              3. Vehicle Check<\/h2>\n\n

              • General bodywork condition (scratches, dents).<\/li>\n
              • Car interior (cleanliness, possible defects).<\/li>\n
              • Fuel level and odometer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                All information can be sent by email or via the dedicated app, and the Jacob Auto Rent team will confirm receipt before the customer sets off on their journey.<\/p>\n\n\n

                4. Vehicle Use<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

                Once the car has been collected, the customer can enjoy the rental, subject to the terms and conditions stipulated in the contract. If technical problems occur or assistance is required, the customer can contact the Jacob Auto Rent team through the support number included in the rental documents.<\/p>\n\n\n

                5. Returning the Vehicle<\/h2>\n\n

                At the end of the rental period, the customer must return the vehicle to the location initially agreed or to any other location agreed with the agency, following the following steps:<\/p>\n

                • Park the car in the specified place and fill in the return form<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                • Photograph the vehicle (interior and exterior) to document its condition at the time of handover.<\/li>\n
                • Leaving the key in the security box and locking the vehicle (if using a keyless system).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  After the return, the Jacob Auto Rent team will inspect the car and confirm to the customer that the return has been properly completed.<\/p>\n\n\n

                  6. Settlement and Contract Finalization<\/h2>\n\n

                  After checking the vehicle, if there is no damage or other problems, the warranty will be released and the customer will receive an email confirming that the contract has been finalized. In the event of further damage or breach of contract, the customer will be notified and the necessary procedures will be initiated to resolve the matter.<\/p>\n
